Fractures can happen to any bone in the body and are usually a result of some sort of trauma, whether it is as simple as jumping and landing wrong or something more severe like being hit by a car. The most common fractures that we see are usually isolated to the long bones of the patient—the forelimbs and hind limbs.

Each fracture is different and therefore has different options for treatment. Some are as simple to fix as putting a splint on it or it can get as involved as going to surgery and placing a metal plate with screws to provide a much more stable fixation.  We have a wide range of equipment so that we are able to offer many types of fracture fixation, depending on the situation.
