Jeff Larche of Elkhorn, Wisconsin, recently told us his story. We’re glad Christy is thriving, Jeff!

I contacted you because Christy, our seven-year-old Siberian husky, had glaucoma in her second eye. Eighteen months earlier she had lost the first eye to the same disorder.

We knew we couldn’t afford any heroic attempts to save her only good eye, so you helped us to come to terms with the removal of it (the only other alternative except putting her down!).

Diane was especially helpful. She is the owner of a blind dog of her own, and she prepared me for any trouble that Christy, or our family, might have to the adjustment. Marla herself did the surgery, and she was kind enough to call me afterwards to let me know the procedure went without a hitch.
