Dave and I wanted to thank everyone at your clinic for helping bring our Roddy back to life.
As you can see in the pictures he is doing quite well. Eats like a horse (or like a tortoise should eat) and is faster than imaginable. We had forgotten how much fun he was to watch and interact with.
He is almost comfortable enought to eat out of our hands, however he doesn't draw back into his shell when he is picked up. He loves being outdoors and is sometimes a challenge to keep an eye on.
Thanks again for all the wonderful care you gave to our pet.

Thank you very much for your wonderful care for Pakora during his stay at MECA - I know he was in the best of care. He has been doing exceptionally well since coming home and has had a rather "ravenous" appetite, particularly for his orchard grass hay, leafy greens and Oxbow treats. It has been a week since his homecoming and I was curious as to whether I should continue to give him 75ml SQ fluids or reduce back to 50ml/day. He has been urinating and drinking well as well as coming out to play/explore. Thankfully, he also does not appear to be in any pain as he comfortably rests and hops.

My orange-winged amazon named Biddy was rushed into the ER about a month or two before you left to start MECA. Biddy was having siezures and was found to have high blood pressure. You diagnosed her case quickly and I truely believe you saved her life. She is the very old Amazon - you estimated that she was born probably sometime in the 1940's. To let you know, she is doing great. Without your help and follow up, I don't think she would be with us. I just wanted to take a few minutes to thank you for your expertise and the help you had given Biddy a few years ago. You truly are a treasure to your profession. --

"I met Dr. Marla Lichtenberger in 1995. She saved the life of my 2-year-old Yorkshire Terrier, Brady. Since then, I have entrusted her with all of my animals. Dr. Lichtenberger displays superior knowledge in her field, professionalism, integrity, and honesty! Her finest quality is the sincere compassion and understanding she has for us and for the well being of our fur kids."

Dr. Marla Lichtenberger has treated several of my rabbits. I first began seeing her as an emergency vet in 2004 when she treated Raymond. Her expert care quickly diagnosed one of my bunny’s health problems. She has the utmost knowledge and professionalism with her care. I’ve also had opportunities to perform volunteer work with her, which has been both educational and a pleasure. I have a great deal of trust and faith in her.

Halley, our loving German Shepherd, struggled with bowel problems for six years. It wasn’t until a visit with Dr. Marla that we finally received a diagnosis and a treatment. This was a huge relief for us and made a drastic improvement in the quality of her life. Five years later, Dr. Marla undertook a sensitive surgery on Halley removing a massive tumor and her spleen. Halley made it though the three hour surgery and the night under the gentle care and close scrutiny of Dr. Marla. We were blessed.
Our present four-legged kids have had their own urgent care needs and without hesitation we will drive from Green Bay or from the WI Dells to see Dr. Marla in Milwaukee. Dr. Marla listens, and then assesses the situation, determines the cause(s), presents us with different options, and always follows up with us and our referring veterinarian. When working with Dr. Marla, my husband & I have always felt like active participants in our pet’s medical care. Yet, it is Dr. Marla’s dedication, compassion, knowledge, and professional demeanor that will always keep us coming back. She is a gift in our lives and in the lives of our pets!
